This is a fun place to stay. It is old but clean. We stayed in the suite with two bedrooms. It was very spacious. Nice beds, pillows, and blankets. We could hear traffic but it wasn't bad. The fridge is a good size. The oven worked well. It is smaller than a typical home. There was a dining table that fit 4. The pullout sofa beds almost touch when pulled out. There is room to shimmy through. The pool is big and heated. The hot tub is a good size too. Bring some quarters for a handful of games. There are a lot of tables and space to hang out. The whole place is spacious. The water smells bad to me. I think it is well water. I would bring your own water to drink if you are sensitive to smells. The water also stained the pool. It looks dirty but it is just the stains. This is not a fancy place. It is comfortable and close to Lake Shawano. The owner is very nice and accommodating.
We stayed in late May for a couple nights on our trip around Wisconsin. The inn is in a great place with lots to do within a short drive. The style and vibe was great with a classic style but very fun with the arcade machines and pool table in the lobby. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy. Hot tub was perfect temperature. The service and people running the inn were incredible and very easy to get on with and talk with! Highly recommend.
We loved it here. We had a screw up with our reservations somewhere else. We found Cecil best decision the owner was super sweet and very kind. We will be back again only thing is the hard water.

Wanted To try something different from my son's birthday. So I decided to get a room at Cecil Fireside Inn. My children and I are so happy we decided to stay there. The staff were very nice. The room Was affordable, clean, comfortable big beds with nice comforters. There was a microwave, a refrigerator and even a little stove and sink area, it was so cute! The room was very convenient as there was doors going outside on one end and the other end into the pool and game area. I usually go to the Four Seasons to celebrate birthdays. But from now on, I plan on going to Fireside Inn! Thank you so much for such a great memorable experience!

We have been going here every year for about 30 years now. The customer service was great. The rooms got coffee makers, which is a very nice perk, especially when your kids are up before 7am. The pool was a perfect temperature this year, which I really appreciated. The rooms are obviously old but they are clean and well maintained. It's really hard to find a fun place like this. Great for winter family time by the pool.
We have been coming to the Fireside Inn every year for over 30 years. Our large family takes up almost every room. The Management and Staff are friendly and so accommodating. Can wait to get there again this year!!
